Although she appears to be good if you think about it, she could have been working with Set and Menes. She wanted the amulets for Akhenaten who was Set in disguise. She rewarded the prince with the Treasure Room key and told him to put the amulets there. This would have allowed Set's troops to dive in quickly and steal the ancient amulets, and the sarcophagus there lead Tut to his death on the other side.
So do you think she should be classified as 'evil' on the site? Also look at her, black and red, witch-like and definitely evil-looking. I think she was evil but I want to hear other opinions before I finalize.

It has been a while since I've played Sphinx but I remember thinking she was evil. I really have to play it again. Finding this site has made me want to play it again.

I never thought of her like that.
I pretty much treated her like a cast-away character (once her role was done, she's gone). Which proved true.
But it would have been more interesting to see her with an actual role in the story.

Oh also, what's the deal with Akhenaten? Was he Set all along or did Set just take on his form on that day. I never really got that completely.

Here's an 100% confirmation. If you check the 'Book of Sphinx' and look at the Notes when you have the old amulet mission, it says her name is Aunt Seti.
Aunt SETI. Giveaway or what?
If her name was that, then she was probably evil all along unless she had some awkward name change.
Also I added a new mystery to the site, the text subtitles used to have Aunt Seti call Tut her nephew and her son but they changed it from "my son" to "my dear".

After all; Seti I was the father of Ramses II; also known as Ramses the Great.

Yeah I guess but all the characters aren't based on their names. I mean, Rameses (I think) Sekhmet, Tefnut, Sobek, Khensu and all those other randomers have nothing to do with their Egyptian mythology counterparts and I'm sure it's all just references.
I thnk it just gives it away that she was Set... Seti... Set... I dunno. Just sounds evil, she is eeeeevil. Probably was just Set in disguise...

Seti was a great guy and beloved pharaoh D:
But I'm sure they originally had something intended to her and in the final version, she didn't have much of a role to play.

Nah I think that's all she was meant for. Just a side character who served her purpose (leading Tut into the trap) and that's all Set needed her for.
As for the Pharoah according to one of the guards the one Sphinx defeated was an impostor, great, that was really uncalled for. Too many impostors in this game.

When I stop to think about it, she really does resemble Set appearance-wise.
The king says something early on about rumors regarding palace security and wanting to talk to Akhenaten about it, but that he couldn't find him; maybe Set was disguised as Aunt Seti in the meantime?
Sure, Set may've not been possessing her at all and instead was using her and the whole amulet mess to help lead Tut to his doom, but that's just me.
All that said, it just seems like the odds are generally against her, so she probably should be classified as evil.

Oh no it's not that he couldn't find Akhenaten, it was that Akhenaten "assured me he could handle it" or something along those lines.
Speaking of the king... that's one other thing that annoys me. I always assumed he was the king because of how he looked and where he was (at the throne) but the guard in the Treasure Room calls him 'the captain'. And he calls Tut "prince" all the time instead of "son". Daaaaaang.
I freakin love the Luxor Palace level.

But I think she's just a side character that wasn't meant to do much of anything.
Maybe she wasn't intended to look evil, but ugly instead D:
